The worst part was you were part of these 20 to 30 people looking at the same thing and wondering what the tour guide were saying.... At the end of your holiday, you are so tired that you wished you get on another holiday.

A true Batavian, born and raised in Jakarta, with an excellent local knowledge of my city. When I’ve decided to move back to Jakarta after 8 years living in London, where I’ve gained a degree in Finance and Management and working for 6 years in the service industry, I knew it was going to be ‘different’. However, it was also clear from the very beginning that working as a Personal Guide in Jakarta was going to be incredibly interesting and satisfying.

 

Jakarta through its hectic hussle and bussle of daily life has hidden treasures that attracts and seduces me each time, fulfilling my expectations with great pleasure and allows me to discover its intimacy. The beauty of my profession is that I work in the most interesting and intriguing city of the world, and I’ll be pleased to share it all with you.

 

Whether you are a single traveler, a couple, a small group or a family with kids and have just a day or more to visit this incredible city and its Island, I will be please to give you choices, allowing you to unpack the complexity of this city and to see things from many different prospective. My itineraries and experiences capture the essence of our destinations. We will delve into the city's artistic heritage, as well as selecting the most stunning destinations in Jakarta's magical countryside and minor islands. I will show you the city as it was, as it is now, and as it is becoming. Because Jakarta is a work in progress you can expect the unexpected, so be prepared!
